Here are some common questions about art classes
Do I need to know how to draw?
Drawing is a form of visual art in which a person uses either graphite pencils, pen and ink, inked brushes, wax color pencils, crayons, charcoal, chalk, pastels to draw on paper.  No previous experience is required. Drawing skills can be mastered by anyone. This art form is not dependent on talent. This skill can be learned and practiced and drawing is no exception.
Do I need painting experience?
Painting is a form of creative expression in which a person uses either watercolours, oil or acryllic paint to create colour and paint on paper or other means using brushes or even your fingers.  No previous experience is required. Painting skills can be mastered by anyone. This art form is not dependent on talent. This skill can be learned and practiced and painting is no exception.
What art equipment should I bring to class?
 

If you have purchased some art supplies please bring them to your first class, but it is recommended that you attend the first class and you will be given a list of the art supplies to purchase which is required for the classes ensuring that you do not overspend and buy supplies that you will not use.

How long do the classes last?

The adult art classes are 2,5 hours long and are once a week and are carried according to COVID-19 requirements.

How much are the fees?

Adult Art Classes are R640.00 per month with a R100.00 registration for new students.

 

How big are the classes?
The maximum amount of students per class is 6.  It is important that the classes remain small so that one-on-one individual attention can be given to students.
What is the frequency of the classes?
The frequency of the art classes is once a week for adults and children.  The home schooling classes are once a month and the babies/toddlers workshops on appointment.
